The question that ‘Evide’ harbours in its title is answered in no time by its sheer obviousness. And for a mystery thriller as this, it could prove fatal, and expectedly leads to its crack-up in no time.
The well worn plot and the familiar characters in the film are impossible to root for. Sreekrishnan’s ‘Paviettante Madhurachooral’ strives to drive out the angst of its leads on to its viewers, but hardly scores.
Najeem Koya’s ‘Kaly’ aspires to be testosterone fuelled. It however turns out to be little more than an expendable diversion; one that is so caught up with its own indulgences, that it rarely hits a mark or scores a point in the course of its entire running time of an unbelievably long one hundred and sixty three minutes!
